These data are for informational purposes only and are one information resource operators can consider when identifying areas that meet the definitions in 49 CFR 195.6. All verification inquires or questions about USA data distributed by PHMSA should be directed to the organizations which produce/source the data.

Request Drinking Water USA Data

PHMSA will ONLY provide Drinking Water USA data to pipeline operators who operate hazardous liquid pipelines under PHMSA’s jurisdiction. Due to our data security policy, contractors/consultants will need to initiate requests for Drinking Water USA data through pipeline operators. Thank you for your cooperation.

1. I agree to restrict access to the Drinking Water USA dataset to persons within my company who support integrity management planning for operation of in service PHMSA-jurisdictional hazardous liquid pipelines in the area for which they have requested the data;
2. I agree to not include the Drinking Water USA data on external web, tablet, or mobile applications or viewers;
3. I agree to not redistribute the Drinking Water USA data to any third party;
4. I agree to refer any requests by third parties for the Drinking Water USA data to the PHMSA Associate Administrator for Pipeline Safety;
