You can view the Great Lakes USA data on a pipeline map in
PIMMA or the
NPMS Public Map Viewer.
The Great Lakes USA data reflects the definition of the Great Lakes from 33 U.S.C. 1268: Lake Ontario, Lake Erie, Lake Huron (including Lake St. Clair), Lake Michigan, and Lake Superior, and the connecting channels (Saint Mary’s River, Saint Clair River, Detroit River, Niagara River, and Saint Lawrence River to the Canadian Border). NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) produced this data by creating a polygon from their medium resolution shoreline and their US Maritime Limits and Boundaries representation of the US/Canada international boundary. NOAA distributes this data as part of their US State Submerged Lands dataset through the Marine Cadastre National Viewer.
